Timothy Kennedy Highlights Importance of Women-Owned Businesses in Western New York

Women-owned businesses are playing an increasingly important role in shaping the future of Western New York, according to Congressman Timothy Kennedy, who represents New York’s 26th Congressional District.

Kennedy highlighted the importance of providing women entrepreneurs with the resources, mentorship and opportunities they need to turn business ideas into successful and sustainable ventures.

He also recognized the role of the Women’s Business Center in bringing together women entrepreneurs, community leaders and organizations committed to supporting their success.

“Supporting women in business means investing in the people who are creating jobs, strengthening our neighborhoods, and driving our local economy forward,” Kennedy said.

He emphasized that supporting women-owned businesses goes beyond helping individual entrepreneurs. It also contributes to job creation, stronger communities and continued economic growth across Western New York.

The Women’s Business Center aims to provide a supportive environment where women entrepreneurs can connect with mentors, community leaders and other partners while developing and expanding their businesses.
