Different countries and different nations of the world have their own festivals which are observed on a fixed day on various occasions. There are two occasions of Eid festival in a year for the Muslims- one Eid-ul-Fitr at the end of the month of Ramadan and the other Eid-ul-Azha on the 10th day of the month of Zilhaj. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the Muslims sacrifice beasts to Almighty Allah with heartfelt dedication, which is called Qurbani. It has been observed that proper religious principles are not maintained in the case of sacrificing beast (Qurbani). Some people sacrifice at a higher price only to exhibit their vanity and some sacrifice a number of beast unnecessarily. Sometimes sacrifice of beast take place also on political competition. This sort of sacrifice is against the observance of religious rules and rites and cannot be supported from the religious and social point of view.

The higher class in the society should come forward to the help of our poor who are not capable to observe Qurbani and are not able to enjoy Eid because of poverty. It should be our pledge to see that Eid brings joy and happiness to all irrespective of the rich and the poor of the society.
